Your new home in the heart of Palma.
Thoughtfully designed with exquisite attention to detail, these residences blend the essence of local heritage with a minimalist and contemporary style, offering a sophisticated home that integrates seamlessly into its surroundings.
Every detail has been conceived to provide a unique lifestyle—authentic, refined, and deeply connected to Mediterranean culture.
Discover Son Bauló, an exclusive project located in the very heart of Palma’s old town, one of the island’s most distinguished and sought-after areas. The building is home to two unique residences: a duplex with a private terrace and pool, and a penthouse featuring a spacious terrace with unparalleled views of the city’s historic center.
The Son Bauló building holds a unique history within its foundations: originally, it was a pottery workshop, one of the few that once existed in the center of Palma. Among its ruins, the old kiln and traces of a past still remain—when the art of ceramics gave shape to vases, plates, and pieces that bore the personal mark of the master potter. On the same street, a pottery market was once held, a vibrant space for exchange and social life deeply rooted in the city’s traditions.
Pottery in the Balearic Islands carries a rich and diverse heritage, shaped over centuries by the influence of Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Greeks, and Muslims, and later enriched by Christian tradition as well as Levantine and Italian currents. In Palma, potters organized themselves into guilds, and by the 18th century the city boasted more than forty workshops, making it a prominent center of production.
Today, Son Bauló revives that historical memory and weaves it into its new residential identity, paying tribute to an ancestral craft that forms part of Mallorca’s cultural soul. As a homage to that past, the project’s logo brings back to life the ancient seal found among the ruins: a mark that once identified the potter’s creations and now symbolizes the authenticity and timeless essence of these unique residences.
